Castellina in Chianti, since 1968
A farmhouse among the vines, three generations of work
Rooms, home cooking and the wines from our cellar, among the hills that divide Siena from Florence.
Our story
We have farmed this hill since 1968. All we ask of our guests is to slow down, and to sit at the table with us.
Il Poggio is first and foremost a working farm: twelve hectares of vines and olive trees, tended by the Bianchi family since 1968.
The rooms came later, for those who want to stay a few days and see up close how Chianti Classico is made. On Fridays and Saturdays our dining room is also open to guests not staying with us.
